The proper school supplies at school and in the home are the tools that will help with SUCCESS in learning for students. For the families of students living in poverty on the Box Project waiting list for a long-term sponsor, providing these tools is a challenge. How can you help provide these tools? The Box Project offers a one-time short-term opportunity to sponsor a family for Back-to-School. You can help a family by providing pencils, pens, paper, uniforms or other needed supplies necessary to have the opportunity for a successful school year. Schools begin classes in early August. Families for this short-term opportunity will be matched during June and July. If summer activities are too busy to commit to sponsoring a family, donations designated to “Box Project Back-to-School” will be accepted. Volunteers will shop for students in need referred to the Box Project by local agencies. Help make a difference today in the life of a student living in poverty!
